From Mario to Cursor: Chasing Curiosity at 3 AM

When I was in 4th standard, I got a Nintendo.
And Mario became my life. Only one thing mattered, How to jump, How to kill the monster, How to get to the next stage. That was it.
School, homework, everything else faded away. I would wake up at 3 am or 4 am, tiptoe into the living room, mute the TV, and play.
One night my father thought a thief had entered the house. He came running with a stick. And found… me. Playing Mario. The result? He got a carpenter to make a TV shelf with a lock. The console went inside. And my secret missions ended. Today, the same thing is happening again.
But this time, the game is Cursor. I am exploring it to crack text to SQL. And suddenly, every problem I wanted to solve with tech feels possible.
It’s exactly like Mario. Queries are monsters, Ideas are mushrooms, Next levels are waiting.
And again, I’m up at 3 am, lost in the game.
The only thing I pray for now is That this doesn’t happen with my wife. That she doesn’t walk in one night and say “WTF are you doing at 3 am?”
